MIA and Postcard.

Sorry that I’ve been absent for so long – just not had very much inspiration to blog. It seems that the trips away stopped my flow – I’ll try and post more often.

On a brighter note – remember I mentioned the 20SB Postcard Exchange? Well, I still only seem to have received one of my postcards, so I should probably talk about it already.

I was given my contacts about a month ago, they are Lynsey from Indianapolis, USA; Berrak from Washington, USA; and Lisa from Tasmania, Australia.

Postcard - Indianapolis

As you can see, this postcard is from Indianapolis, in the USA. It was sent by Lynsey (aka Dressed to Chill). She mentions that the picture on the postcard is of the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Monument in downtown Indianapolis. Who knows whether my card got to her…well, technically mine was a picture that I took myself, which I sent in an envelope (which hopefully was suffice). I should write back to Lynsey with a proper Liverpool postcard, I think. Maybe on the 3 buildings by the Docks?

Not much has happened to me recently…well, I now fancy someone…but I shan’t talk too much about that. He sort of knows, but I wouldn’t want to give the game away any more than I have.

I spent a few days in the Lake District with my Dad, it was very cold! In fact, it’s cold now. Nearing the end of March and it’s snowing…in England! Crazy. This is Ullswater – just beautiful.

Also, I went to a new Dentist this morning – It’s nice to leave and feel like I’ve been listened to, understood and actually feel positive. Hopefully I’ll be able to get something started with my teeth by the end of this year – this probably means braces! Honestly, I’m thoroughly excited about this. It’s ridiculous how important teeth are to a person’s confidence, eh? I would love there to be a time when I can smile, laugh and talk without feeling the need to try and cover my teeth. That’s a dream of mine. :]

That’s definitely it, this time.

Until the next.
